Getting Between Free Sights on Foot
Most places on this page are linked by bridges and waterfront paths, so a day of free sightseeing can be done on foot without a transit ticket: Norrbro into Gamla Stan, Norr Mälarstrand to Rålis, and the path from Djurgårdsbron to Rosendal.
Connecting the Places on Foot

- Norrbro The bridge runs from Gustav Adolfs torg across Helgeandsholmen, past the parliament, into Gamla Stan.
- Norr Mälarstrand Waterfront Promenade The shoreline path runs from City Hall Park along the southern edge of Kungsholmen to Rålambshovsparken, with views across the water.
- Skeppsholmsbron Take this bridge from the central waterfront over to Skeppsholmen, with the Royal Palace across the water.

- Walkers and Cyclists Many paths are split between people on foot and on bikes. Stay on the pedestrian side.
